Attorney Robert S. Kolesnik, Jr. received a B.A. from Fairfield University
in 1990, where he majored in Sociology and minored in Political Science.
He received a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2001.
While in Law School, Attorney Kolesnik, Jr. was the
recipient of four
awards for Distinguished Academic Achievement for the highest grades in the
courses of Contracts, Legal Skills, Advanced Family Law and Juvenile Law.
Attorney Kolesnik, Jr. was also the recipient of the Law School's Awards for Superior Classroom Performance, Service to the Community and Service
to the Law School. He was also recognized by the American Bar Association as the
recipient of its Award For Excellence in Courses on Land Use and Local Government Law.
Attorney Kolesnik, Jr. is a member of the Connecticut
Trial Lawyer's
Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the
Waterbury Bar
Association, where he is active in the Family Law Section.
